EVENTS
The Third Saturday Free Car Show will be held behind the Cottage Cafe in Ventura from 9 a.m. to noon on the third Saturday of each month. The show is free to entries and spectators.
Free drawings will be held every half hour and first- and second-place trophies will be awarded at noon.
Cottage Cafe is at 2611 E. Thompson Blvd. in Ventura.

CRUISE NIGHTS
The Oldies Speed Shop Morning Coffee Cruise is held every Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Oldies Speed Shop parking lot, 4532 Telephone Road, in Ventura. Free entry, free coffee and bench racing. Vehicle categories include Muscle Cars and Hot Rods. An informal Peoples’ Choice Award will be named.

Cruise to Paradise Grill Sports Bar is held in Ventura on the third Sunday of every month from 4 to 7 p.m., following Jalopy Joe’s Car Show. Paradise Grill Sports Bar welcomes hot rods and customs cars and will be offering live entertainment, raffles, prizes and discounts on food and beverages.

Ventura Cruise Night will be held every third Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Foster’s Freeze, 4121 Telegraph Road in Ventura.
Vehicles from 1975 and older are invited to participate. The event will feature rock-n-roll music, food and prizes.

MUSEUMS, EXHIBITS
The Murphy Auto Museum features a large collection of vintage automobiles, including classics of the ’30s, street rods, and muscle cars on loan courtesy of local residents.
It is at 2230 Statham Blvd. in Oxnard, one mile east of Five-Points off Oxnard Boulevard. It is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
Admission is a suggested donation of $9 for adults and $6 for children.

CLUB MEETINGS THIS WEEK
The Porsche Club of America, Santa Barbara Region meets at 8:30 a.m. the first Saturday of each month at the Way Point Cafe at the Camarillo Airport and at 9 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month at Moby Dick Restaurant on Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara. All Porsche owners are invited.

The Channel Islands 4×4 Club holds its meet and greet from 5 p.m. to close on the second Saturday of each month at Chuy’s Mesquite Broiler, 1397 E. Los Angeles Ave., in Simi Valley.
Members meet in the parking lot. Food and beverages are available for purchase from the restaurant. There is no fee to attend the meeting. All off-road enthusiasts and members of other 4×4 clubs are welcome to attend. The club schedules regular trail runs and activities throughout Southern California.

Simi Valley Corvettes meets twice a month, on the first and third Tuesday of each month, at 7:30 p.m. at the Simi Valley Senior Center, Conference Rooms 106 and 107, 3900 Avenida Simi, in Simi Valley.
Simi Valley Corvettes was formed in 1984 to stimulate and promote, through social and recreational activities, interest and pleasure in the owning and driving of the Chevrolet Corvette.
The Simi Valley Corvette Club is more than just two meetings a month. It’s about making friends, getting together with friends and taking America’s true sports car out on the road for a run.
